  • What is an eSIM?

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a mobile plan without needing a physical SIM card. It is built into your device and can be programmed remotely.

  • Which devices support eSIM?

Most modern smartphones support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and many Samsung Galaxy models from 2019 onwards. Check your device specifications to confirm.

  • How do I activate my eSIM?

After purchase, you receive a QR code by email. Go to your device settings, select 'Add Mobile Plan', scan the QR code, and follow the on-screen instructions. Activation typically takes under five minutes.

  • Can I use my eSIM and physical SIM simultaneously?

Yes. Most dual-SIM devices allow you to keep your home SIM active while using the eSIM for data abroad. You can set data routing preferences in your device settings.

  • What happens if I run out of data?

You will receive a low-data notification. You can purchase a top-up directly through the Airlo Mobile portal or buy a new plan. Your eSIM profile remains on your device.

  • Is there a validity period?

Yes. Plans are valid from the date of first use. Regional plans are typically valid for 30 days; global bundles for 30 or 90 days depending on the package selected.

  • Can I share my eSIM data via hotspot?

Hotspot sharing is supported on most plans, subject to your device's capabilities. Some budget plans may restrict tethering — check the plan details before purchase.

  • What if I travel to a country not covered by my plan?

Coverage maps are available on the service area page. If your destination is not covered, you can purchase an add-on or a separate regional plan for that area.

  • How do I contact support?

You can reach us via the contact form on this website or by emailing [email protected]. We aim to respond within 4 business hours during UK working days.

  • Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price shown at checkout is the total price. There are no activation fees, no monthly commitments, and no automatic renewals unless you opt in.
